Please note you do not have to provide evidence of your benefits, the council use an online checking system connected with your benefit providers which tells us whether you are eligible or not for free school meals.

The Academy receive extra funding for all children recorded as being eligible for a free school meal. Funding is used to help your child.
Year 7 to 11: £935 per year
Therefore please apply even if your child prefers to bring their own meal.

Brownhills Ormiston Academy uses ParentPay which is a secure online payment system that makes it easy, quick and safe to pay for school dinners and coach fees at any time of the day.
All new intake parents are sent activation letters in the post at the start of the term. Please look out for these and contact the Finance Department if you do not receive them.
Any existing parents who are not yet registered can request a copy activation letter from Finance Department.
We want to encourage all our parents to register; it reduces queuing at the cash machine and also means that your child does not have to carry cash around with them. We currently accept payments online for school meals, coach fees and sometimes trips.
